2:09pm. I just spent the past two hours as a human billboard standing on a median at a busy intersection, holding a sign that read "YES A - Affordable housing - livable city.” Democracsy of the future is not going to be about voting for people, but raising public awareness about ideas and projects.

Why do we need to elect a King? Do we need someone to pin our hopes on and blame when things go wrong?

After finishing my duty with the sign, I noticed Bin Laden's face on the front page of a newspaper, then came back to Beth's to read it online. The last part of the article gave these quotes:

OSAMA BIN LADEN
-- "Your security is not in the hands of Kerry, Bush or al Qaeda. Your security is in your own hands. Any state that does not mess with our security has naturally guaranteed its own security."

-- "While I was looking at those destroyed towers in Lebanon, it sparked in my mind that the tyrant should be punished with the same and that we should destroy towers in America so that it tastes what we taste and would be deterred from killing our children and women."

-- "It appeared to him (Bush) that a little girl's talk about her goat and its butting was more important than the planes and their butting of the skyscrapers. That gave us three times the required time to carry out the operations, thank God."

GEORGE BUSH
-- "Earlier today I was informed of the tape that is now being analyzed by America'sintelligence community. Let me make this very clear. Americans will not be intimidatedor influenced by an enemy of our country. I'm sure Sen. Kerry agrees with this. I also want to say to the American people that we are at war with these terrorists, and I am confident that we will prevail."

JOHN KERRY
-- "In response to this tape of Osama bin Laden, let me just make it clear, crystalclear, as Americans we are absolutely united in our determination to hunt down and destroy Osama bin Laden and the terrorists. They are barbarians, and I will stop at absolutely nothing to hunt down, capture or kill the terrorists wherever they are, whatever it takes, period."

Those boys are blood thirsty. Will they ever learn? They are terrorists. Are they planning to kill everyone who thinks differently?
