Chaco Canyon, New Mexico, USA
Juliette, who crossed my path at the pumps near Chaco, passed me on the highway, then I caught up to her again, rolled down the window and yelled "Are you free tonight?" We pulled off and caught a breathe in the shade of bushes on the bank of the Rio Grande, had a chat about her experience with the Peace Corps and made plans for meet to spend the night on the couch at her pad.
Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
I did a slide show on the slide walk for a half dozen new friends, and then Jerry, who got sucked into the scene from across the street, played us a few tunes and gave me a couple of his CDs.
Thanx for the fabulous evening in Albuquerque. As it turns out, I am a
teacher. I teach a nursing program in the highschool here locally.. I
couldn't agree more, the only way to learn is to journey into the world and learn hands on. we take young people 15 - 18 yrs old into hospital
settings and show them how to take care of real people.
My journey has taken me many places all over the world. As I watched your show and experienced your adventure, I realize how very little I have seen and experienced in my short life. We all have so many things to see, do and embrace.
The grass grows green
and the clouds float by
another soul turns to stone,
and falls to the ground.
The childrens's eyes,
a woman's lies,
another man to trust.
Nothing touches his lust for life, turned to dust
one, two three, the war's not over yet
we're still fighting with our dreams
one, two, three, the war's not over yet,
we're still young children,
laying in our beds
A nations truth,
grown from lies,
only now can we see you,
from the sky far up above.
A fire fly, blinks at night,
in the hollow of my soul.
I knew a man, I could not love,
I did not know his brothers love
was hidden, in his rage
