mattole wattershed on the lost coast of northern

1:35pm. I can think myself into a dark pit. "The news" makes life look like spit. Election results and the price of stocks I can tune out or turn off, but smoke stacks can't be ignored. There is a fat brown line across the sky and the air stinks. And I want to fish off the break water, but I'm told that the Saint John River is one of the most poluted in North America, so I'd be scared to eat the catch.
Every view is the result of one's perspective. High on a mountain top, focused on a brilliant sunset, I'm in heaven. Outside on a clear night, laying on my back, looking out at space, I live in infinity and anything is possible.
Stretching, exercising, drinking fruit smoothies, hanging out with loved ones and listening to happy music helps make me feel good. A walk in the forest or on the beach improves the view of my world.
