Day dreaming in chemistry class at age 17, I was struck by the realization that
my life needed direction-- a mission to focus my passion. I didn't want to waste precious youth.
Rushing to the library I opened an atlas to plot my path. I wanted to be a
teacher, but the classroom routine didn't interest me because I have ADD (Adventure Deficiency
Disorder). I would become MAX, who's life was a Motivational Academic
Xperience. My purpose would be to help others find their purpose.
There in the library I set my course-- to kayak home to Saint John, New Brunswick on the east
coast of Canada from Vancouver via Lake Nicarauga in Central America. I'd never been in a kayak
before, so I was bound to learn a lot. SoloMAX is about going solo to find one's unique path and living
fearlessly to get the MAX out of life. I've now paddled most of the coast to central Mexico, shared
my adventures with millions of people through SoloMAX.com, presented hundreds of inspirational muti-media lectures and created The Roblito Community Center for Cultural Exchange to
promote personal empowerment and environmental awareness by fostering art and adventure
opportunities. I'm a seeker sharing what I've discoverd, but this web site isn't about me; it is
about you and what you will do with the rest of your life. It doesn't matter what we know. What we
do with it is what counts!
